How do I sign up?
In the app: type your phone number and the code we text you. That is the only SMS you ever get from us. Yapuu is for people 18 and over.
How do I sign in on this website?
First set a website password in the app: You, Settings, Website password. Then sign in here with your phone number (or email) and that password. No SMS needed.
I forgot my website password.
Set a new one in the app: You, Settings, Website password. It takes ten seconds.
Who can see where I am?
Only the mates you pick, and only while you share. You choose exact, rough or hidden for each mate, and Ghost mode hides you from everyone at once. There is no public map.
Someone is bothering me.
Long press their message or open their profile, then Report or Block. A real person on our team reads every report.
What is Campfire?
Phones close together (about 50 m) link up over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so you can chat, send pics and voice notes with no data and no signal. Switch Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on; you do not need internet.
Is Yapuu free?
Yes. Chats and calls go over Wi-Fi or data, so they use a little data but no airtime. Campfire uses no data at all.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: You, Account, Delete account. You have 30 days to change your mind, then everything is erased.
